Are you gaining weight due to Emotional Eating?

Emotional Eating? What’s that? Ok, let me explain. Just imagine you are eating food not for you are hungry! When you eat for reasons other than hunger, it is called as “Emotional Eating”. Emotional eating is one of the major reasons for your weight gain.

So you should make all efforts not to be a victim of “Emotional Eating”. If you don’t do this, life would be much difficult for you. So, beware of being an “Emotional eater” .

How can you avoid emotional eating and lose weight?

  1. Decide what to eat: It’s very important to organize your eating habits. Learn to manage your eating. Decide what you should eat that can easily change your life-style altogether!
  2. Learn to decide between “actual hunger” and “emotional hunger”. Like for instance, after having your lunch, within half-an-hour, you see a smell and delicious food. You feel an erg within to eat that at that time because of your emotional hunger and not actual hunger. So, you have control this habit in order to avoid being over-weight.
  3. Eat consciously. It’s always advisable to eat consciously. Relish what you eat. Don’t rush wish your food or do any other working while you are eating. This disturbs the actual eating process and denies losing pounds. Many of us have the tendency to watch televisions while we eat. This should be avoided. This is inhibiting your weight loss.
  4. Identify the reasons behind ‘Emotional eating’. The most possible reasons are stress, boredom, emotional issues and likes. So find out which is the one you are victim off!

So all the above point counts as possibilities of being overweight! If you know the cause, you can the remedy then! Happy weight-losing!!

Ask your self "Why I am overweight?"

Are you not able to figure out why you are overweight? Well, in my last post, I have explained few reasons of getting overweight and here too, I will mention you few other reasons what are the few probable reasons of getting overweight. As I mentioned, there may be different reason why you may be overweight and the most important thing is to uncover the real facts and reasons of getting overweight. Discover the inner self in you. It’s not about looking good and trying out different weight losing diet-chats and programs but to feel better inside. So, for this, you need to find the actual cause and then act accordingly in finding proper remedies! So let’s chalk it down!!

Bob Green, one of the health experts, said that “Believe it or not, getting fit, losing weight, eating the right kinds of foods—it really isn’t a mystery,” he says. “There’s a system behind it. There is a way of treating yourself where results that you want come to you”. So what is the right system?

Firstly, ask yourself why you are overweight? Pin-point the underlying reasons behind getting extra pounds pilling on your body, there must be certain reasons behind your weight gain. So, find the reasons and then take the consistent measures to drop pounds and get healthy.

Secondly, after you are done with the probable and satisfactory reasons as to why you are over-weight plan your diet-chat and work accordingly! You can also go for some reliable weigh-loss programs, but but it is very important for you to know the reason of your excess weight. If you are overweight due to some genetic disorder or some disease, then I will suggest you to consult doctor before committing to any kind of weight loss programs.

Thirdly, Exercise, jog and walk. These are very important to stay fit and lose weight. Exercise helps you to burn fat and consume extra calorie in you body. This mechanism helps your body to stay away from fats pilling up on your body!

Last but not the least, always concentrate on what you eat. The key is to get motivated and committed to what you eat and is happy with it.

Why am I so fat?

Why are you fat and overweight? Well I often hear some same lines like “I have tried all sorts of stuffs to lose-weight but the weight doesn’t comes off”! I have asked those people with the previous lines “Why are you gaining weight?” “How are you gaining weight and since how long you have been gaining weight?” Some told I don’t know, some said may be due to over-eating of high-calorie food and all of them came up some sort of unsatisfactory, unexplored answers! This is very frustrating for them. They only know that they are gaining weight somehow and they need to cut those extra lbs from their body, that’s it! As a result, try out all the different diets and exercise plans on the market today. But do you know why you are overweight? If don’t then here are some basic reason why! These are:

  1. You don’t get overweight by eating only: Everyone has a different life-style and eating habits. For most of them, eating habits play a massive role. For some, it’s genetics, and for the rest could have disease. So always try to find out reason why you are overweight. Ok?
  2. Evaluate your daily eating: most of us gain some extra pounds due to their daily eating habits. They don’t know what they are eating (in terms of calorie, fats, carbohydrates etc). They lack the knowledge of what, when, and how much to eat per meal, per day. So this has to be worked out.
  3. Lack of exercise: “Hey lazy bones! Wanna to do some exercise?” The lazy bones says “No, my dear friend…you know I am very very lazy..he he!”. So this should not be the attitude. Exercise is one of the vital aspects to lose weight and restrain the fats to pile up on the body, all the time. So, whether you are over-weight or not, we all must exercise daily to keep us fit and healthy. Exercises should be done in a proper way as most of us lack the knowledge of what exercises work best for fat loss and how to do the exercises properly.

So, I consider the reason of being overweight is one or a combination of some or all of the above plus a lack of exercise. Firstly find out what is the reason behind being overweight and then proceed with necessary action! Hope this helps.
