Can we lose weight by swimming? Do we really lose weight by swimming? Which is the better option to lose weight: Swimming or Land Aerobics? There has been a lot of discussions and controversies of weight-loss issues and it will continue till the concept weight-loss hesitancies will exist. As a health expert, I would suggest to go with swimming as the best work out for weight loss. I say this because I have reasons.
Both in my training life and practical life I had seen, more fats burns and calories exhaustion takes place through swimming than through other forms of land exercise. The result of swimmers tends to lose less weight than other forms of aerobics. Recent researches shows (as per study record at Educational Testing Service in Princeton), 25% more calories burn out by swimming than by mere running out.
The message is clear that good swimmers burn a good amount of calories but mere mortals don’t. But why is that? When we swim, we use more muscles for each swim laps and the whole body gets full exercise. It improves the mechanical efficiency and weight-loss techniques. More calories burn while we swim is just because of the reason the entire body gets full exercise at one go. In aerobic and land exercise the thing is not that easy.
I also suggest if you like playing with water, why not using to strengthen your weight loss priorities? You are definitely going to burn more calories with swims than simple aerobics. Don’t just skip or alter your swims schedule to aerobics to and fro. No one can stop you from losing weight, that’s the promise.
