Can blogging, or writing in general (journaling, for instance) help you lose weight. It does, according to this article titled Losing Weight, the Blog Way and I totally agree. It’s not that you sit, write for an hour everyday and voila! you are thin. No.
Blogging does the following if you use it to lose weight:
- Keep track of weight loss progress
- Share your experience with others trying to lose weight
- Be accountable to yourself
- Be accountable to others
- Meet people who want to lose weight and develop a community
