The power of water is not to be underestimated. Insufficient water consumption leads to overeating. Brain does not effectively distinguish between hunger and thirst. For all you know when you think you are hungry, the body might actually be signaling a need for water. If you are not drinking enough water on a daily basis and because of this your feel hunger pains, then it is an indication that the body desperately needs water. When you feel the hunger pangs, try drinking some water – there is after all nothing to lose, but for some weight.

Average water consumption should be 6 -8 glasses a day. Consuming this much quantity in the following way can keep you well hydrated every single day.

One large glass of water after waking up. Body loses water during sleep through breathing & perspiration.
Another glass of water at breakfast time or a cup of herbal tea.
Supplement your mid morning with a piece of juicy fruit and have a glass of water.
In Lunch have a glass of water ½ an hour before your meal.
During mid afternoon have a glass of water while preparing for your evening meal and add some fresh crunchy vegetables.
½ an hour before your dinner have a glass of water plain or mixed with some fruit juices.
Before bedtime, consume a glass of water and rest well!
